ICMarkTech 2025 is pleased to confirm that Professor José Enrique Bigné Alcañiz (Professor of Marketing at the University of Valencia and Chair of the ICMarkTech Steering Committee) will participate as a featured editor in the “Meeting with Editors” session.
A leading scholar in advertising, consumer behaviour, tourism marketing, virtual reality, and neuromarketing, Professor Bigné has held prominent academic and editorial roles throughout his career. His work appears in internationally recognised journals, and he currently contributes to several editorial boards across marketing and management fields. During the session, he will share insights on publishing strategies, research positioning, methodological quality, and navigating the review process in marketing-related outlets.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Professor José Enrique Bigné Alcañiz is Professor of Marketing at the University of Valencia. He holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Degree in Law, and postgraduate diplomas in Market Research and Operations Research.
He has served as Head of Department, Dean of the School of Economics, Vice-Chancellor for International Relationships and Communications, and Academic Director of the International MBA and Master’s in Marketing and Communication.
His research focuses on advertising, consumer behaviour, tourism marketing, virtual reality, immersive media, neuromarketing, and marketing strategy. He has held visiting scholar positions at the University of Maryland, UC Berkeley, and the University of Westminster.
