Write the full paper in English and keep the manuscript between 10 and 16 pages, including references.
Paper / Article Submission Information
- Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers for evaluation by the Scientific Committee.
- Papers written in English (full papers 10 – 16 pages) must follow the formatting rules for Proceedings in Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies series (see Instructions for Authors at Springer Website).
- The version of these papers for evaluation by the Scientific Committee, saved in PDF format, must not include identification, e-mail and affiliation of the authors.
- These files must be accompanied by the Consent to Publish form filled out, in a ZIP file, and uploaded at the conference management system.
Poster Submission Information
Format and Dimensions:
- Posters must be presented in A2 format.
- The ICMarkTech’26 logo must be included in the poster design.
The authors of accepted poster papers must prepare and print a poster for display during the Conference. This poster should adhere to either an A2 vertical format. The Conference may include special sessions for the presentation and oral discussion of these posters, with a 10-minute (5 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes of questions) time limit per poster.
Authors of accepted posters will be allotted 5 minutes to present their work during a Conference Work Session, followed by approximately 5 minutes of discussion after each poster presentation.
File Submission:
- The Posters Proposals must be submitted in PDF format. Final versions of accepted posters can be submitted in ZIP format ater the acceptance feedback.
Submission Deadline:
- All posters proposals must be submitted via the OpenConf platform by September 05, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Bucharest time, CET Time Zone GMT +2).

Reviewing and Decisions
Review Process
- All papers will undergo a "double-blind review" process by at least two members of the Scientific Committee.
- Based on the evaluation by the Scientific Committee, a paper may be either rejected or accepted by the Conference Chairs. In the latter case, it may be accepted in its originally submitted type or in another type.
Types of Publications
Articles written in English and accepted and registered will be published in the Proceedings by Springer in a SIST series and will be submitted for indexing by ISI, EI-Compendex, SCOPUS and Google Scholar, among others, and will be available in the SpringerLink Digital Library.
The best paper that meets the journal scope will benefit from a fast track in the European Journal of Management and Business Economics, which is indexed in WoS/ESCI, Scopus, among others, with IF 0.75 (JCI, 2020) and classified as Q2 (Scopus, 2020) in the areas of Business and International Management, Finance, Marketing, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Strategy and Management, and Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality Management.
Authors of conference papers related to tourism, hospitality, and leisure are invited to submit an extended and revised manuscript to the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management (IF 7.6, indexed in Scopus, among others, CiteScore(2023)=13.3). Submissions must follow the submission guidelines of the JHTM and mention in the cover letter that the papers are an enhanced version of the ICMarkTech conference. All submissions go through the normal peer review process of JHTM, but the process will be expedited for ICMarkTech presented papers.
Extended versions of selected papers can be submitted for a regular issue in Spanish Journal of Marketing – ESIC. Scopus classifies SJM-ESIC in the top 20% (38 of 195) Marketing journals with a CiteScore(2021)=6.8 in the Marketing category.

Consent to Publish is only required after acceptance.
The evaluation version must be anonymous. Only after the Scientific Committee accepts the paper should authors prepare the camera-ready version, include author information and complete the Consent to Publish form.

Use the official Springer proceedings template and follow the formatting instructions for the SIST series.
Anonymise the PDF
Remove names, e-mail addresses, affiliations and information that may directly identify the authors.
Submit through OpenConf
Submit the paper information and upload the anonymous PDF through the official ICMarkTech’26 OpenConf system.
After acceptance
Prepare the camera-ready Word or LaTeX source and PDF, restore author information and complete the Consent to Publish form.
Mandatory paper requirements
- ✓Original work: the paper must not have been published previously or be under review by another conference or publication.
- ✓Springer format: authors must use the official proceedings template and author guidelines.
- ✓Blind review: the evaluation PDF must not contain names, affiliations, e-mail addresses or other identifying information.
- ✓Camera-ready version: author names, affiliations and bibliographic information are restored only after acceptance.
- ✓ORCID: Springer encourages authors to include their ORCID identifiers in the final paper.
- ✓Corresponding author: the author signing the Consent to Publish form should match the corresponding author identified in the paper.

Rules
Submitted papers must comply with the format of Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies (see Instructions for Authors at Springer Website), be written in English (10 - 16 pages), must not have been published before, not be under review for any other conference or publication and not include any information leading to the authors’ identification. Therefore, the authors’ names, affiliations, and bibliographic references should not be included in the version for evaluation by the Scientific Committee.
This information should only be included in the camera-ready version, saved in Word or Latex format and also in PDF format. These files must be accompanied by the Consent to Publish form filled out, in a ZIP file, and uploaded at the conference management system.
Review Process
Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process and will be peer-reviewed by at least three members of the respective track Program Committee. It is the responsibility of the authors to remove names and affiliations from the submitted papers, and to take reasonable care to assure anonymity during the review process.
Author Info
- Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ guidelines and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers.
- Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form.
- The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper.
- Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.
