ICMarkTech’25 is pleased to confirm Dr. Carla Ruiz-Mafé (Associate Professor of Marketing, University of Valencia) as a featured editor in the “Meeting with Editors” session.
Dr. Ruiz-Mafé is an established scholar in digital marketing, neuromarketing, consumer behaviour, interactive media, e-commerce, and tourism. Her research examines how individuals process digital experiences, make decisions in online environments, and respond to persuasive and technological cues across digital ecosystems. She has published in leading journals such as Internet Research, Psychology & Marketing, Online Information Review, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Destination Marketing & Management, and Electronic Commerce Research and Applications.
Her international academic engagement includes multiple appointments as Visiting Scholar in the United States (University of North Carolina Wilmington) and the United Kingdom (University of Glasgow), contributing to cross-cultural and interdisciplinary collaborations in marketing, tourism, and consumer psychology.
Dr. Ruiz-Mafé will offer practical, evidence-based guidance on preparing manuscripts for high-impact journals in interactive marketing, consumer research, digital commerce, and tourism analytics.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Carla Ruiz-Mafé is Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Valencia, where she holds a PhD in Marketing and teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including Global Marketing Strategies and Promotional Communication.
Her academic experience includes several visiting scholar positions at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (USA) and the University of Glasgow (UK), advancing international research collaborations in marketing, tourism, digital communication, and consumer psychology.
