ICMarkTech 2025 will welcome Professor Justin Paul, Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Consumer Studies (Wiley, Q1) and one of the world’s most highly cited scholars in Business & Economics, to the Meeting with Editors session.
The 30-minute session will provide an insider’s view on publishing in leading international journals, navigating peer review, and building research that attracts high academic impact. Professor Paul will share practical insights drawn from his extensive editorial experience and from mentoring hundreds of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers worldwide.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the editorial process, journal positioning, theory-building expectations, and pathways for advancing manuscripts toward acceptance in high-ranking outlets.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Professor Justin Paul holds three doctorates — a Ph.D. in Marketing (University of Brighton, UK), a Ph.D. in International Business (IIT Bombay), and an honorary doctorate from Calcutta. He serves as Professor of PhD and MBA programmes at the University of Puerto Rico (USA) and formerly as Dean and Provost at NMIMS University (India), accredited by AACSB and EQUIS.
Ranked among the world’s top 72 most-cited academics in Business & Economics with an H-index of 101, Professor Paul is internationally recognised for introducing several influential frameworks, including the Masstige Model for branding, the CPP Model for firm internationalisation, the SCOPE Framework for small firms, and the TCCM and SPAR-4-SLR approaches for systematic literature reviews.
He has taught or lectured at over 100 universities in more than 40 countries, including the University of Chicago, MIT Boston, Aarhus University, University of Porto, Grenoble École de Management, IE Madrid, WU Vienna, and the University of Ljubljana. He has authored best-selling books with McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press, and Pearson, and several widely adopted Harvard-distributed Ivey case studies.
