Yogesh Kumar Dwivedi
Prof. Dr. Yogesh K. Dwivedi is Distinguished Professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (Saudi Arabia) and Honorary Professor at Swansea University (UK). An internationally recognised researcher in digital marketing, information systems, and digital government, he has authored over 700 scholarly articles and more than 20 books. He is a member of the ICMarkTech 2025 Advisory Committee and a highly cited academic globally, particularly in the areas of emerging digital technologies and electronic government.

Yogesh K. Dwivedi holds a PhD in Information Systems from Brunel University London and has over 20 years of academic and research experience. He currently serves as Distinguished Professor in the Department of Information Systems & Operations Management and affiliated member of the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Finance and Digital Economy at KFUPM. Previously, he was Professor of Digital Marketing and Innovation at Swansea University, UK, where he held several senior leadership positions, including University Dean of REF Environment, Research Director, and Head of Department. His research spans information systems, digital transformation, e-government, AI adoption, digital marketing, and social media in emerging markets. He has supervised over 25 PhD students, examined more than 100 theses globally, and collaborated with scholars across Europe, Asia, and North America. Prof. Dwivedi is listed among the Top 3 researchers in the UK and Top 20 globally in Business Management (Research.com, 2024), and is a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics (2020–2022). He has held editorial roles in top journals, including Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Information Management, and currently serves as Associate Editor or Senior Editor for Government Information Quarterly, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, and others. He is also Chair and Life Member of several IFIP working groups (WG 8.6, 6.11, 8.5) and recipient of multiple honours, including Doctor Honoris Causa from “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Romania, and the UKAIS Fellowship.
