Samuel Anjos
Samuel Anjos is a PhD fellow at the University of Minho and a researcher at Centro ALGORITMI, specialising in augmented and virtual reality for healthcare training and recovery. He is part of the ICMarkTech 2025 Steering Committee and contributes to European research projects including BE.Neutral, AI ERIT, and DPBL. He also leads marketing and communication efforts for DeepLearn and AICES, and is founder of Campus.ly, a startup helping students find academic paths tailored to their profiles.

Samuel Anjos is currently pursuing a PhD in Informatics at the University of Minho, funded by FCT – the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. He conducts research at Centro ALGORITMI, focusing on the application of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and spatial computing in clinical training and patient rehabilitation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management and a Master’s in Digital Transformation from the University of Maia (UMAIA). He is also the co-founder of Rise Up Junior Enterprise, through which he collaborated with numerous companies across Portugal.
Samuel has worked on national and European projects including BE.Neutral (Portugal), AI ERIT, and DPBL (Erasmus+). Outside academia, he is the founder of Campus.ly, a technology startup dedicated to guiding students in identifying academic courses aligned with their individual profiles and learning styles. He is also part of the Organizing Committee for the DeepLearn Summer School and AICES Winter School, where he manages marketing and communication strategies.
