Dr Carla Ruiz Mafé is Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Valencia. Her research focuses on digital marketing, neuromarketing, consumer behaviour, and tourism. She has been a visiting scholar in the USA and UK and has published in leading journals such as Internet Research, Psychology and Marketing, and Electronic Commerce Research and Applications.

Carla Ruiz Mafé holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Valencia, where she currently serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics. She has been a visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (2010, 2014) and the University of Glasgow (2013, 2014, 2015, 2017), engaging in international research collaborations. Her primary knowledge area is Marketing and Market Research, and she teaches across several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Business Administration and Marketing. Her research has been featured in over 30 international peer-reviewed journals, including Internet Research, Online Information Review, Journal of Consumer Marketing, and Destination Marketing and Management.
